本作是新时代格斗游戏《苍翼默示录》系列新作。游戏追加了新角色人偶师雷利乌斯，可操作人数达到了19名。故事模式将追加4个剧本，而且系列首作《厄运扳机》的故事也将重制收录，堪称系列大全集。在掌机版收录的深渊模式、还有在前作中的收费DLC内容、街机版中的连续挑战10位究极模式对手的模式也将会完全收录于本作之中。
