本作是由SCEE瞄准欧美市场上推出的PS3版卡拉OK游戏《SINGSTAR》，制作人Paulina Bozek先生表示，在软件中将会提供首批高达350首歌曲，游戏正式发售后每个月还会提供100首歌让玩家们下载。不过他并没有提到下载是否收费及收费的标准，但是凭借SONY在音乐领域的力量，PS3版《SINGSTAR》无疑将会是PS3在欧洲进一步抢占市场的利器。
