侍魂·闪，英文名Samurai Shodown Edge of Destiny，是经典的刀剑类动作格斗游戏系列之一。待魂系列是格斗游戏里是个历史悠久的老招牌。《侍魂闪》是SNK老牌刀剑对战格斗游戏《侍魂》系列最新作，采用TAITO研发的PC兼容基板Type X2制作，画面以3D绘图方式构成。承袭原作的2D格斗系统，并加入能朝画面远近方向移动的3D轴移动系统。

本作是街机同名剑术格斗游戏的移植版。原作是为《侍魂》系列诞生15周年而推出的作品，游戏登场的角色有24人，其中11人为全新角色。《侍魂：闪》保留了系列中拥有一击必杀威力的“大斩”，3D化游戏方式实现了角色在3D空间中纵横无尽、自由自在的攻击，并增加全新的“弹”系统，实现攻防双方的形式逆转。本作还有危机状态下的一发逆转技“一闪”的存在，而“愤怒爆发”则可以使角色的攻击力和发动技数增加。
