「真三国无双」与「战国无双」的大战，将在「无双大蛇」(Warriors Orochi™) 的世界中引爆！凶猛的魔王远吕智突然从天而降，并且运用超凡的力量 ，将中国三国与日本战国时期的各个名将抓到自己创造的世界 ，藉此测试他的能耐。玩家在游戏里不仅得与魔王远吕智斗智，还得跟历史上的众多名将一较 高下。其中分为四条故事主轴，让三国名将与日本战国武将相抗衡 。玩家将有机会看到猛将吕布单挑名武士本多忠胜，甚至连曹操与织田 信长的世纪大对决都有可能出现！游戏提供「真三国无双」和「战国无双」系列里共77 个名将让玩家选择。玩家可透过新的「团队作战系统」 ，选择三个名将并进行三人小组的作战。
