以《女神异闻录4》结局2个月之后展开的故事的新作《女神异闻录4 终极竞技场》（Persona4 The ULTIMATE in MAYONAKA ARENA）将登录PS3、XBOX360和街机平台，游戏为2D格斗游戏，由《苍翼默示录》的开发小组Arc system works和Atlus的Persona Team共同开发，Atlus方面主要负责角色台词和剧情的制作，Arc system works方则主要负责系统。PS3和XBOX360版预定2012年夏季发售，街机版预定2012年春季推出。《女神异闻录4》结局的2个月后，主角们再次收到了来自“深夜电视”的传言，内容是以“P-1 Grand Prix”为名的格斗节目，主办方是“熊（クマ）”，主角一行人被选为参赛者，顾不上重逢欢喜的主角们将再次进入电视世界探寻真相。
